🪄 The Sword in the Stone Theatre Performance (April 2026)

A magical bilingual performance in English and British Sign Language, created for Deaf and hearing children to enjoy together.
When the powerful sorceress Morgan le Fay sets her sights on the enchanted sword and the throne that comes with it, she enlists her mischievous elf servant Splat to help her seize control of the kingdom.
But one small act of kindness changes everything. It is up to young Arthur and the ever brilliant but slightly muddled wizard Merlin to restore peace, laughter and light to the land.
Together they face spells, surprises and a sword that only the true king can lift.
Filled with rich imagery, joyful physical theatre and captivating magic, The Sword in the Stone brings the legend to life in a playful, modern retelling that celebrates friendship, courage and inclusion in an accessible way for every child.
With British Sign Language woven naturally into the storytelling, clear captions and a visually expressive cast, this performance invites all children, Deaf, hearing, disabled and non disabled, to share in the adventure together.
